P.S. 135 Sheldon A. Brookner provides an integrated course schedule of learning through exploration, questioning and self-reflection. In every class, our teachers emphasize the strategies and processes involved in learning and self-growth, creating a unique opportunity to prepare our students to live thoughtful, creative, and fulfilling lives in a rapidly changing society.

3K & Pre-K

We currently have two Pre-K classes located at our main builiding. Our students participate in various activities to promote learning in a school environment. Programs included in Pre-K are ............

Grade 2, 3, 4 & 5

Teachers at P.S. 135 Sheldon A. Brookner will go out of their way to engage their students and inspire them to enquire and learn.

Advanced Classes

Special Programs

This school's special academic programs included: an accelerated academic gifted and talented/honors program, dance, music, technology, physical education and MakerSpace.

We also offer clubs on Friday afternoons which may include;

cooking, chess, board games, step dancing, knitting and basketball.
